Near the Bed & Breakfast

Not far from the bed & breakfast Le Serre de la Maniette, visit Grignan where, like in all the hilltop villages in the area, you can just wander the streets or under the arched passageways that shade you from the summer sun.
At the markets in Nyons, Vaison-la-Romaine and Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, you find the atmosphere of the Provence of another era.
Less than an hour's drive away, you can visit Avignon, Uzès and the Pont du Gard aqueduct, the Mont Ventoux or the gorges of the Ardèche.
If the summer of festivals (see the Information page) is hot and dry in the region of Grignan, spring and autumn give the countryside the colours of a Van Gogh painting and winter brings us the black truffle.
At the end of June and beginning of July, the blossoming lavender transforms the land into a patchwork of blue, violet and green and the distilleries
spread the fragrance of their invigorating essential oils over the countryside.
For the athletic, hiking and cycling trails are accessible from the house. Less than 1 km away you can play tennis or go horseback riding and the golf course of Clansayes is 6 km away.
And for those who love to do a little shopping, the factory outlets in Romans are a one-hour drive away.
